I was in the car and heading to the liquor store faster than you could say “High Oh Silver and Away!”
It’s not what you are thinking. I just wanted to beg for or purchase some wood wine boxes.
Six stores later I was defeated. Did you know that most wine makers now ship their wine in cardboard boxes? Boo. I then turned to Craigslist and found a few crates up for offer. They wanted no less than $20 (or more!) for a single crate. Bah humbug! 
Before I went any further I talked with the awesome Mr. Stroll who is Marty’s husband, as well as a xeriscape and garden specialist. He gave me the green light for container gardening in Arizona. The growing season begins here in October. So I am in the process of building my own crates. They won’t have the pretty writing on the side, but I hope that eventually they’ll hold lovely things.
The good news is stores like Target and Wal Mart are clearing out bags of soil and other gardening supplies right now because they are on a different gardening schedule. So back the truck up boys, I’m buying some soil!
